Welcome to the New Years Movement 4 Justice home page. This site is under construction, so please forgive the mess!

This Site has 3 Main Goals:

1) To Serve as a Resource for folks who want to organize for justice for Oscar Grant and his friends and family, and against police misconduct overall. These resources are provided because there have been many, many events and developments related to New Years Day, 2009, but some information is difficult to find or hasn’t been shared publicly. This site is an attempt to make as many of the existing resources available in one place, and to make resources as “user-friendly” and accessible as possible.

2) To Provide Information for Organizing & Action, so that folks can take these resources and use them for local and statewide work toward justice.

3) To RAISE FUNDS along with consciousness, to help pay for the many expenses related to: Travel to Los Angeles for the ex-BART Officer Mehserle Murder Trial; obtaining key Court Documents during Trial; creating Materials for organizers; and other statewide Outreach & Education efforts.
